Production cross sections of hyperons and charmed baryons from e+e- annihilation near s =10.52 GeV

We measure the inclusive production cross sections of hyperons and charmed baryons from e+e- annihilation using a 800 fb-1 data sample taken near the (4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The feed-down contributions from heavy particles are subtracted using our data, and the direct production cross sections are presented for the first time. The production cross sections divided by the number of spin states for S=-1 hyperons follow an exponential function with a single slope parameter except for the Σ(1385)+ resonance. Suppression for Σ(1385)+ and Ξ(1530)0 hyperons is observed. Among the production cross sections of charmed baryons, a factor of 3 difference for Λc+ states over Σc states is observed. This observation suggests a diquark structure for these baryons. © 2018 authors. Published by the American Physical Society. Observation of excited Ωc charmed baryons in e+e- collisions

Using the entire Belle data sample of 980 fb-1 of e+e- collisions, we present the results of a study of excited Ωc charmed baryons in the decay mode Ξc+K-. We show confirmation of four of the five narrow states reported by the LHCb Collaboration: the Ωc(3000), Ωc(3050), Ωc(3066), and Ωc(3090). © 2018 authors.

We report a measurement of the cross section for KS0 pair production in single-tag two-photon collisions, γ∗γ→KS0KS0, for Q2 up to 30 GeV2, where Q2 is the negative of the invariant mass squared of the tagged photon. The measurement covers the kinematic range 1.0 GeV
Measurement of branching fractions of hadronic decays of the Ω c 0 baryon

Using a data sample of 980 fb-1 of e+e- annihilation data taken with the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider, we report the results of a study of the decays of the Ωc0 charmed baryon into hadronic final states. We report the most precise measurements to date of the relative branching fractions of the Ωc0 into Ω-π+π0, Ω-π+π-π+, Ξ-K-π+π+, and Ξ0K-π+, as well as the first measurements of the branching fractions of the Ωc0 into Ξ-K̄0π+, Ξ0K̄0, and ΛK̄0K̄0, all with respect to the Ω-π+ decay. In addition, we investigate the resonant substructure of these modes. Finally, we present a limit on the branching fraction for the decay Ωc0→Σ+K-K-π+. © 2018 authors.
Angular analysis of the e + e - → D (*)± D *∓ process near the open charm threshold using initial-state radiation

We report a new measurement of the exclusive e+e-→D(∗)±D∗ cross sections as a function of the center-of-mass energy from the D(∗)±D∗ threshold through s=6.0 GeV, using the initial-state radiation technique. The analysis is based on a data sample collected with the Belle detector with an integrated luminosity of 951 fb-1. The accuracy of the cross section measurement is increased by a factor of 2 over the first Belle study. We perform the first angular analysis of the e+e-→D∗±D∗ process and decompose this exclusive cross section into three components corresponding to the D∗ helicities. © 2018 authors. Measurements of the absolute branching fractions of B + → X cc̄ K + and B + → D̄ (*)0 π + at Belle

We present the measurement of the absolute branching fractions of B+→Xcc̄K+ and B+→D̄(∗)0π+ decays, using a data sample of 772×106 BB̄ pairs collected at the (4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. Here, Xcc̄ denotes ηc, J/ψ, χc0, χc1, ηc(2S), ψ(2S), ψ(3770), X(3872), and X(3915). We do not observe significant signals for X(3872) or X(3915) and set the 90% confidence level upper limits at B(B+→X(3872)K+)
